Held the controlled functions CF10 and CF11 for compliance and MLRO. Supported the business through the implementation and delivery of deposit savings, car finance, buy to let mortgages and second charge lending.

Led the iPSL development of the control framework for the SAS70/ISAE 3000 third party audit and the relationship with the external auditors.

, processing a face value of £700 billion per year and 5 million cheques per day, it is safe to say that iPSL are the market leader in processing domestic cheques across the UK.
iPSL specialise in banking and financial services operations and are the UK Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) joint venture between Unisys, Barclays, HSBC & Lloyds Banking Group (three major banks and an outsourcing and technology services company).
iPSL provide the UK domestic cheque clearing and associated services such as debit/credit outclearing, fraud detection, image based returns and lock box to over 80% of the financial markets. They undertake other complimentary services such as Research and Adjustments and Mandates.

Part of the original team who established the Mortgage Code Register of Intermediaries (MCRI) and implemented the compliance monitoring plan to 14,000 intermediaries. Supported the business in its transformation to the Mortgage Code Compliance Board.

The role of the Mortgage Code Compliance Board was to ensure that customers were fully informed and adequately protected when taking out a mortgage.
All Lenders and Intermediaries registered with the Mortgage Code Compliance Board were required to adhere to the standards set out in the Mortgage Code.
The FSA took over the regulation of Mortgages in 2004.
